Linda Shapero earned her accounting degree from the University of Maryland. She then received her CPA and has extensive accounting experience first in public accounting as an auditor and then as a controller for a Real Estate Investment Trust. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, 4 kids, and 2 dogs. She used her children’s names to create the name Global DEEZ; Danielle, Evan, Elana and Zachary. She enjoys the beach, going on vacations with her family and watching her favorite shows on Netflix.

Danielle, our Director of Operations, has extensive experience with small businesses. She is highly proficient in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and the various intricacies involved in running a small business.  She earned her degrees from West Virginia University - go Mountaineers! She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughters and standard poodle. She enjoys baking, reading and all things Disney.

Whitney Arthur earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University and brings over 20 years of general ledger accounting experience. Residing in Delaware, Whitney stays busy with her husband, daughters, and two energetic pups. She is actively involved with her girls’ sports teams and serves on the board of The Palmer Home, an organization benefitting senior citizens in her community. Whitney enjoys cooking, gardening, and seldom misses a Washington Capitals game. LET’S GO CAPS!   

Kris Ries is an Administrative/Bookkeeping professional with over 30 years of experience.  She started her career in banking and has spent the last 20 years in publishing, then the construction industry.  Kris enjoys spending time with her 6 grandchildren and playing pickleball. Her favorite place is anywhere with clear blue water and palm trees.

 Kris Borgelt earned her degree from James Madison University.  She is a CPA, licensed in Virginia with 24 years of experience with accrual and cash basis financial statements. In her free time she attends the sporting events of her children. Her favorite place to visit is the beach. She loves college basketball, go Tarheels! She currently lives near Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kate Rickard earned her BBA in Accounting and MIS at James Madison University. She earned her CPA while working in public accounting and continued into corporate accounting and finally into financial system integration. She has extensive accounting experience in a variety of businesses. Kate lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two kids. Kate is from a large family and enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and is most at home on the beach!

As a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional, Rebecca (Becky) L. Malinowski received her CPA and began her accounting career with a five-office regional accounting firm as a tax accountant. After moving, Becky continued to work virtually with her current clients and continued to grow her business in her new state. She comes to Global DEEZ with 25 years of experience.

In her free time, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage children, traveling and volunteering. 

 Gigi Aguirre is a Bookkeeper with fifteen years of experience, including working with non profit and construction companies.

French Canadian from Quebec, she moved to Maryland to pursue her studies, met her husband Ed and became a US citizen. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, hiking and cooking. Gigi and her husband have been raising or sitting guide dogs for the last 10 years.

Kim Britton graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Accounting. Much of her accounting career has been in residential property accounting. More recently, she has expanded her services into non-profit accounting for a progressive independent school. Kim is a native to Northern Virginia, loves cars, enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and two rambunctious kittens.  

Janet earned her accounting degree from George Mason University, passed her CPA exam, and started with a major public accounting firm as an auditor. However, the majority of her career has been spent in internal audit of a large regional bank and, most recently, in data analytics and warehousing at Fannie Mae where her primary customers were accounting and finance professionals. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two children and her favorite child, her Havanese named Oscar.

Elaine Sampaio is originally from Brazil, a former pre-school and elementary school English teacher. In 2011 she came to the US as an au pair. She graduated from Marymount University with a Bachelors in Information Technology in 2019. Elaine has been providing IT Helpdesk Support to Global DEEZ since 2014. In her free time, Elaine enjoys cooking and playing with her puppy Ollie. 

 Kim Boucher earned a Master’s Degree in Management, and a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from University of Phoenix. Kim has 25+ years of experience in various areas of finance and accounting, as well as operations management. She resides in New Jersey with her husband, her son, and her fur-baby, Bella. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on vacations, going to the beach, watching her favorite shows, and doing puzzles.
