The President of Global DEEZ, Linda Shapero, earned her accounting degree from the University of Maryland. She then received her CPA and has extensive experience as an accounting professional, first in public accounting as an auditor and then as a controller for a Real Estate Investment Trust. Linda now offers financial solutions tailored for small businesses through Global DEEZ. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, 4 kids, and 2 dogs. The name Global DEEZ was inspired by her children's names: Danielle, Evan, Elana, and Zachary. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, taking vacations with her family, and watching her favorite shows on Netflix.

Danielle, our Director of Operations, brings extensive experience in small business services. As an accounting professional, she is highly proficient in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and understands the various intricacies involved in running a small business. She earned her degrees from West Virginia University - go Mountaineers! Currently, she resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughters, and standard poodle. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and all things Disney while providing tailored financial solutions for small businesses.

Kris Borgelt earned her degree from James Madison University. She is a CPA, licensed in Virginia, with 24 years of experience providing financial solutions, including accrual and cash basis financial statements, making her a valuable resource among accounting professionals. In her free time, she enjoys attending her children's sporting events. Her favorite place to visit is the beach, and she has a passion for college basketball—go Tarheels! Kris currently lives near Charlotte, North Carolina, where she also offers small business services.

Janet earned her accounting degree from George Mason University, passed her CPA exam, and started her career as an auditor with a major public accounting firm. However, the majority of her career was dedicated to internal audit at a large regional bank and, most recently, to providing financial solutions through data analytics and enterprise data warehousing at Fannie Mae, where her primary customers were accounting and finance stakeholders. With their children having flown the nest, she and her husband indulge in their passion for traveling and skiing. And they dote on their “favorite child,” a Havanese named Oscar. 

Chris Light earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from George Mason University. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a varied background, from public accounting with a focus on tax, to corporate accounting in the homebuilding industry, and even recruiting for accounting and finance professionals. Chris has a customer service mindset and thrives when he can help customers succeed at their goals. He lives in Northern Virginia with his family and two cats, Rengar and Lolo. In his free time, he enjoys going on walks with his family, playing video games, reading classic works of fiction, watching shows/movies, and playing tennis/pickleball. 

Kim Boucher earned a Master’s Degree in Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. With over 25 years of experience as an accounting professional in various areas of finance, accounting, and operations management, she provides valuable financial solutions and small business services. Kim resides in New Jersey with her husband, son, and her beloved fur-baby, Bella. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family, going on vacations, visiting the beach, watching her favorite shows, and doing puzzles.

As a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional, Becky received her CPA and began her career in accounting with a five-office regional accounting firm as a tax accountant. After relocating, Becky continued to work virtually with her current clients, allowing her to expand her business and offer financial solutions in her new state. She brings 25 years of experience to Global DEEZ, specializing in small business services. In her free time, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children, traveling, and volunteering.

Kimberly Lyons is a business professional with a strong background in finance, compliance, and corporate research. Over the past 10 years, she has dedicated her career to providing financial solutions while working for a financial firm that assists accounting professionals and offers small business services. Outside of her professional life, Kimberly enjoys art, reading, and spending time with her family, as well as cheering for Tarheel basketball. She graduated from Radford University and the University of Virginia and currently resides near Richmond, Virginia with her husband.

Kate Rickard earned her BBA in Accounting and MIS at James Madison University. As a dedicated professional among accounting professionals, she earned her CPA while working in public accounting before transitioning into corporate accounting and ultimately focusing on financial system integration. With extensive accounting experience across a variety of businesses, she also offers valuable small business services. Kate lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two kids. Coming from a large family, she enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends. Additionally, Kate loves traveling and feels most at home on the beach!

Whitney Arthur earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University and brings over 20 years of experience as an accounting professional, specializing in general ledger accounting. Residing in Delaware, Whitney stays busy with her husband, daughters, and two energetic pups. She is actively involved with her girls’ sports teams and serves on the board of The Palmer Home, an organization providing financial solutions for senior citizens in her community. Whitney enjoys cooking, gardening, and seldom misses a Washington Capitals game. LET’S GO CAPS!

Kim Britton graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Accounting. Much of her career as an accounting professional has focused on residential property accounting. Recently, she has expanded her expertise into non-profit accounting, providing essential financial solutions for a progressive independent school. A native of Northern Virginia, Kim enjoys cars and loves spending quality time with her husband, two kids, and two rambunctious kittens. Additionally, she is passionate about offering small business services to help local enterprises thrive.

Kris Ries is an accomplished Administrative and Bookkeeping professional with over 30 years of experience. She began her career in banking and has dedicated the last 20 years to providing financial solutions in the publishing and construction industries. As one of the leading accounting professionals in her field, Kris also offers small business services to help clients manage their finances effectively. In her free time, she enjoys spending moments with her 6 grandchildren and playing pickleball. Her favorite getaway is anywhere with clear blue water and palm trees.
